Corruption in MDMS procurement, case filed against 19 people including 2 former presidents

The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has filed a case in a special court on the allegation of irregularities in the procurement of Mobile Device Management System (MDMS).

The commission has filed a case against 19 people including former chairman of Nepal Telecommunication Authority Digambar Jha, Purushottam Khanal, former senior director Anand Raj Khanal.

The then chairman of the authority Digambar Jha, Purushottam Prasad Khanal, senior director Anand Raj Khanal along with Min Prasad Aryal, Vinod Chandra Shrestha, Dipesh Acharya, Surendralal Hada, Revati Ram Panth, Sandeep Adhikari, Surya Prasad Lamichhane, Achyuta Nand Mishra, Vijay Kumar Rai Yadav, Pratiksha A sum of Rs 91 crore 98 lakh 30 thousand 882 has been claimed against Paudel, Nirajan and 19 people.
