3 Indian nationals arrested for online gambling worth crores while living in Nepal

Kathmandu. Three Indian nationals have been arrested for illegal online gambling. The police team deployed from District Police Complex Kathmandu arrested the person from Darbar Marg on Thursday.

The arrested have been identified as 32-year-old Rishav Pawa, resident of Punjab, India, 52-year-old Gulav Singh, resident of India Siddharth and 39-year-old Gaurav Singh, resident of Delhi, India.

The police team deployed after receiving a secret information about illegal online gambling in the underground of Casino Palace on Darbarmarg arrested three youths.

According to the police, currency worth more than 18 million, three laptops, seven computers, three tablets, three mobile phones and documents related to online gaming were recovered from them.

According to the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, the accused Indian citizen is being investigated by the District Court of Kathmandu for an extension of seven days for illegal online gambling prohibited by the law of Nepal and financial transactions in foreign and domestic currencies contrary to the Nepal Rashtra Bank Act 2058.
