42 percent recharge of Nepal Telecom from digital

While there is a lot of top-up from recharge cards, Nepal Telecom’s mobile recharge has started increasing through electronic means. According to the telco, the digital top-up has now reached 42 percent.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Nepal Telecom spokesperson Rajesh Joshi said that they are working by giving priority to electronic top-up. Now the electronic top-up is increasing.

Speaking on the occasion, Dilliram Adhikari, Managing Director of Nepal Telecom, said that 42 percent digital is now in the top up of Nepal Telecom.

According to him, this is an increase of 10 percent compared to last year. Last year, the digital top-up was 32 percent.

With the rise of corona infection, mobile, internet, TV and other fees are being paid electronically. Various mobile wallets, mobile banking and telecom websites are also being used for mobile recharge.
