7 selected people from Nepal in Seeds for the Future leave for Bangkok

7 people selected in Huawei Seeds for the Future 2022 have left Nepal for Bangkok. 7 selected people are going to participate in the regional program.

Nirman Khadka and Professor Mallik of Kathmandu University, Banshaj Paudel of Madan Bhandari Memorial College, Jatin Bhusal of Khwapa Engineering College, Riya Baidya and Nadika Paudel of Pulchok Campus and Aju Tamang of Amrit Science Campus have been selected from Nepal.

Students will also get to participate in the first regional onsite program to be held in Bangkok from August 19 to August 27, where they will learn about 5G, AI, cloud computing, metaverse and other emerging technologies by seeing practical applications.

In addition, they will be looking at practical applications of 5G and engaging in cross-cultural learning with students from 14 countries.

They will also participate in the Tech for Good competition where students have to come up with original ideas to combat real-world environmental or social problems.

The winning teams of the Tech for Good project will be able to participate in the Tech for Good Accelerator Camp to be held in Singapore from August 29 to September 2. After their return, the students will visit the Huawei-built base station at Muktinath in late September.
