Access to digital Nepal should be increased in 8 areas

In fact, today’s program is the way I envisioned it. Got separated from that. The program is very relevant. I didn’t think the program would go this way.

The program to be done by the Government of Nepal has been done so well with the cooperation of the private sector. I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers and the representatives of the sponsoring organizations for the program that has been organized for the children under the age of 19 studying in the school.

We are talking about digital Nepal. What a great slogan ‘My Digital Nepal My Imagination’. One for thinking, one for creation, one for innovation in the future.

We may have to do something to make that vision a reality tomorrow. In fact, I think our students understand a lot. I am very happy to see their understanding and depth in today’s digital age.

We are talking about digital connectivity, e-commerce, e-governance. Looking at the essays, poems, digital video presentations of the brothers and sisters who will be awarded today, I saw that their level of understanding, level of knowledge is really commendable. Friends of the former speaker have already said.

The Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal has already approved the Digital Nepal Framework. Along with that there are 8 thematic areas. We need to increase access to digital Nepal. Productivity will have to be increased by investing in those areas. There are 80 initiatives we have taken for that purpose.

When I got to participate in this program, I got a chance to know something, listen to something, collaborate with the people here. As the Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Government of Nepal, I will carry some messages. There will be cooperation with them. The Government of Nepal will join hands in such programs tomorrow.

Now, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology will definitely work with professional organizations like here.

In the days to come, we will work for the usefulness of Digital Nepal by advancing its usefulness. I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to all the students who will be awarded today.
