MacBook Pro M2 Pro Max Rumors

Apple launched its new M2 silicon-based MacBook Air and Pro notebooks a few months ago. Now, the company is rumored to be working on MacBook Pro 14″ and 16″ models with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. So, let’s get into the rumors and leaks surrounding the Apple MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max chip.

Apple MacBook Pro (M2 Pro, M2 Max) Overview:

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed Apple’s intentions for new MacBooks in his “Power On” newsletter. The new model, like the previous one, will be available in 14″ and 16″ screen sizes. And no big design changes are predicted, as Apple revealed a fresh design for the MacBook Pro model in 2021.

If not on the outside, the MacBook Pro will see some inside upgrades. To be precise, it will include the rumored M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.

The new silicon is expected to be based on a 3nm node. But according to a recent report, Apple will continue to use the 5nm technology for their upcoming CPUs.

Yet the company is expected to move from a standard N5 process to the newer N5P process by TSMC. It is also likely that the new silicons will have increased GPU core counts and RAM compared to their M1 equivalents.
