Apple will use US-made chips until 2024. Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple will use chips made in America by 2024 while speaking at Shack.
Due to this, Apple will not rely on many Asian countries like Taiwan. Currently, 60 percent of the world’s chips are produced in Taiwan. Apple has also decided to make the chip in America because of the problems with China on various issues.
To reduce that dependence, a chip manufacturing plant is being built in Arizona, which will be operational by 2024. This plant has the capacity to make 20,000 chips per month.
