Arrested for betting on Euro Cup and Copa America online
Police have arrested an 18-year-old boy from Talchowk, Pokhara Metropolitan City-27 on Tuesday on charges of betting on Euro Cup 2020 and Copa America football matches in Europe and South America.
Based on the confidential information that betting was taking place in the stalls, the police deployed from the District Police Office, Kaski, found him betting online through Viber and Hratsap and arrested him from a hotel at Lakeside.
According to the District Police Office, Kaski, the investigation is underway by extending the time limit by seven days.
