We have been hearing about the Asus ROG Phone 7 for quite a while now. And recently, this gaming phone was spotted on Geekbench and 3C certifications, revealing some key details. So let’s get into the leaks and rumors surrounding the Asus ROG Phone 7.
Asus ROG Phone 7 Rumors Overview:
The ROG Phone 7 was recently discovered with model number “AI2205_A” on Geekbench. Another ROG Phone with model number “AI2205_D” was also spotted on the 3C listing, which could be the ROG Phone 7D instead.
If last year’s Asus ROG Phone 6D series is anything to go by, the 7D will be powered by a MediaTek chip. Most likely the Dimensity 9200. But the Geekbench listing reveals this model also features a Snapdragon processor, which is pretty odd.
Performance
Anyway, the aforementioned listing shows that the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. On Geekbench 6, the ROG Phone 7 “AI2205_B” scored 2022 and 5719 in single and multi-cores—whereas the “AI2205_D” variant posted 2012 and 5697 in single and multi-cores, respectively.

Besides the chip selection, we also know that the ROG Phone 7 will be paired with 16GB of RAM (presumably LPDDR5x) and 256GB of onboard storage (presumably UFS 4.0). The ROG Phone 7 will boot on Android 13with the company’s ROG UI on top.
Display and Battery
Anyway, rumors suggest that the ROG Phone 7 will have an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It will bring a 6000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
Asus ROG Phone 7 Pricing and Availability in Nepal
The ROG Phone 7 is expected to launch in Q3 later this year. However, there have been no leaks about its pricing yet.
