Authority warns to take action if called on mobile and landline from apps like Viber, Skype

The Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTAA) has requested not to talk on Nepal’s mobile network and landline using the features of apps like Viber and Skype. The authority said in a statement on Tuesday.

The NEA said in a statement, “Recharge cards of various apps like Viber, Skype are being sold and distributed in Nepal and it is understood that such telecommunication service providers are communicating on mobile and landline using the features of apps like Viber Out, Skype Out. Therefore, this information has been published for the information of all concerned not to do / not to do such work.

The authority has warned to take legal action if found talking on mobile and landline through apps like Viber and Skype.
