Becoming digital insurance committee, new server and software operation

The Insurance Committee has brought new servers and software into operation. On Friday, Insurance Committee Chairman Surya Prasad Silval inaugurated the new Server and Software Insurance Regulatory Management Information System (IRMIS) at the same time.

Chairman Silval has formally inaugurated the event by printing the agent’s license through new software. Five decades after the establishment of the new software, the Insurance Committee has moved forward on the path of digitization.

The new software has been developed as per the plan to digitize the internal work of the insurance committee, said Milan Raj Nepali, head of the information technology department of the insurance committee.

“We are working to digitalize the paperwork of the insurance committee with the new software,” he told ICT News.

According to him, insurance companies will be able to submit their financial statements and daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports online. As a result, the hassle of having to come to the insurance committee to submit the report has ended.

The Insurance Committee’s new software is made by Darshan Tech Pvt. It is believed that this software will facilitate the work of the committee and also manage the data and information received from the insurers.

The Insurance Committee has also built its own server. Store Nepali informed the data from BIMK in the server.

He also said that backups will be kept at the National Information Technology Center for data security. He says that there is a plan to add more servers as per the need.
