Ripple is a laptop brand based in Nepal. It is the first laptop with Core i5-11400H and RTX 3050 Max-Q to hit the Nepali market. In fact, this is the only laptop in this laptop with an RTX GPU. Thus, if you are into ray-tracing and DLSS, this is the laptop to get. As for memory, you get 8GB RAM and 256GB of SSD. As with most of Ripple’s offerings, you can upgrade both RAM and storage later on.
The laptop features a 15.6-inch 144Hz IPS panel. The FHD display has 100% sRGB coverage. The laptop has a metallic build and weighs 2.2kg. Unlike other entries in this list, the IdeaPad Gaming 3 has a minimal design, which doesn’t scream gaming outright. However, it packs a ton of power inside in the form of Ryzen 7 4800H. MSI GF65 Thin, as the name suggests, is a lightweight gaming laptop that weighs just 1.86kg. It has a brushed metallic finish on the lid and keyboard deck. The Acer Predator Helios 300 offers the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti. Similarly, you get an Intel i5-10300H and 8GB of RAM in here, which is pretty standard at this price range.
The storage has been bumped to 512GB this year and the screen is a 15.6-inch FHD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is not the most accurate but it won’t matter if you just plan to game on it. In addition, Acer has taken care brightness aspect well.
