Broadband internet reached 87 percent, about 1 million connected in a month

Internet access in the country is increasing day by day. Broadband internet access is gradually expanding from the city to the rural areas.

The latest statement from the Nepal Telecom Authority confirms this fact. According to the NEA’s MIS report for February, the number of customers connected to broadband internet is 263,056,000.

While in the report till April, this number was 25.4 million 19 thousand 325. In this regard, 936,680 people are connected to broadband internet in a month.

According to the MIS report, broadband internet has reached 87.19 percent in Nepal. This is about 3 percent more than the April figure. Broadband Internet access was 84.09 percent in April.
