Daraj’s hitchhiker program resumes

Online shopping site Daraj has announced the resumption of the Sahyatri program. Daraj said the Corona virus had started a companion program last year to support the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector.

Under the Sahayatri program, Daraj removed the four-month commission fee and provided free access to more than 700,000 customers across the country, helping more than 8,000 SMEs register their business in Daraj.

For the first time in the next three months, there will be no market fee for SMEs to sell online, sellers will be paid within 7 days instead of 14 days, and businesses will get special SME financing with the help of Nabil Bank.

It also has a quick sign-up process to enable new vendors to go online within 24 hours and vendors to receive detailed e-commerce training and education initiatives through Daraj University.
