The Digital Nepal Framework is to be implemented in the coming Fiscal Year.
Presenting the budget of the Fiscal Year 2078/79, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel informed that priority would be given to digital and information technology. Similarly, the works will be taken forward as a digital economy, said Minister Poudel.
It is also mentioned in the budget that the quality of telecommunication services will be improved. It has been mentioned in the budget that fiber internet will be expanded across the country in two years using the Rural Telecommunication Fund. Poudel also mentioned in his budget speech that all types of government services will be integrated with the citizen app.
