ECAN and SoftEd Group join forces to provide scholarships for 50 students pursuing Bachelor’s degree in IT

An agreement has been reached between Nepal Educational Consultancy Association (ECAN) and SoftEd Group of Companies to provide scholarships to students. Under the social responsibility program, 50 students will be provided with scholarships at the graduation level at Sunway College under SoftAid Group.

Vigyan Shrestha, the president of SoftAid Group, said that the collaboration was done to promote ECAN’s Study in Nepal campaign. According to the collaboration, 50 Nepali students will get a scholarship worth 10 million at Sunway College to study at the graduate level. In this, 2 people will be given full scholarship and the remaining 48 people will be given partial scholarship.

In order to get a full scholarship, a 3.60 GPA in Plus Two should be achieved, while in order to get a 50 percent scholarship, a 3.50 GPA in Plus Two should be achieved. 3.00 G in Plus Two to get 30% scholarship. P. A. will have to bring Similarly, the standard of at least 5.5 score in the ILTS exam has been set.

It is said that the college will provide scholarship for B.Sc Honors Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence. This course includes data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, cloud computing, programming software engineering, innovation, etc. Besides, there is also the facility of professional placement for 1 year after studying this course.
