Facebook has introduced a tool to lock its account for Afghanistan

Facebook has unveiled a tool for users in Afghanistan to lock their accounts. It helps modify people’s privacy settings. This is Facebook’s ‘One Click’ tool. This allows you to enable privacy settings in your timeline posts.

This prevents you from downloading or sharing profile photos. This feature also limits what strangers can see in your timeline. The tool will not be available for Instagram, the company said. But even on Instagram, the app will inform users about a different way to lock the account through a pop-up.

In Afghanistan, Facebook has also made the friend list invisible. The company has said it will make every effort to keep its users safe and has set up a separate operation center.
