Google Announces New Animation for Workspace in Google Mitt’s ‘Hand Raising’ Feature

Google has unveiled a new animation for the workspace in Google Mitt’s ‘Hand Raising’ feature. There has also been a change in the sound of the notification and an update in the way the app informs the host that the participant has raised their hand.

While not a groundbreaking contribution to the genre, Google Maps helps users to engage in meetings that are well attended. Workspace users will get the following features.

1. Updated visual icons and animations on video tiles

2. The app of the person raising the hand makes the video grid visible to the host.

3. If the participant raises his or her hand first, a notification will be sent to all participants yesterday.

4. Clicking on that notification will let you know who else has raised their hands.

5. After the participant speaks, the raised hand tends to lower itself.

These features will be available at meetings hosted from Workspace, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Essential, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Education Fundamentals, Education Plus, Nonprofit and Jesuit Business Accounts.
