Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Rumors, Specifications, Feature, Launch

Google’s upcoming smartphones are catching attention on the internet thanks to new leaks. We already know that the Pixel 6 series is most likely to be driven by Google’s own Whitechapel chipset. And according to the aforementioned leak, Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will have a radically new design.

Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Rumors Roundup:

It wasn’t very long since we learned that Google’s upcoming release could use an in-house chipset to power the device. It will allow better software support, better resource management, among other advantages. Other than this, we have almost no clue about the device.

Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Design

Now, popular leakster John Prosser reveals that Google will add two new Pixel phones to its portfolio—Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Prosser has a long track record of sharing almost legitimate details of the Pixel series. Furthermore, another leakster, Max Weinbach confirms the design of the Pixel 6, but he believes that the color used in the renders might not be the final one.

Design and Camera

Focusing on the device, both of them will feature a radical camera cutout on the rear, compared to the past Pixel phones. Also, the camera layout extends to match the edge window and the bump appears to be significantly enormous as well.

Moving on, the upcoming Pixel 6 might have only two cameras, while the Pixel 6 Pro could debut with three. In terms of design, the renders depict a dual-tone body divided by a massive camera hump. Google enjoys experimenting with colors, as evident by previous Pixel devices. But, this design practice was discontinued starting with the Pixel 4. However, it appears that the two-tone concept is back with the Pixel 6.

The notch on the front has been moved to the center, the body is square, and the bezels are also narrow. Additionally, they will feature an in-display fingerprint reader too; which means that Google is finally saying goodbye to the rear-mounted sensor.

Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Launch Date

The pictures above are all renders, designed using information from a source. Alongside the Pixel 6 series, the long-fabled Pixel smartwatch‘s new render surfaced too. Following Google’s launch trends, these devices could arrive in mid-October, but there has been no official word about it yet.
