Goverment Formulating National Artificial intelligence (AI) Policy

There will be a national AI policy introduced by the government. On the occasion of National ICT Day on Thursday, Ramakrishna Subedi, Secretary of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, stated that the National AI Policy is presently in the process of development.

Secretary Subedi stated, “The National AI Policy is being formulated to make the use of artificial intelligence (AI) systematic and safe.”

Speaking at the event, Subedi revealed that because the field of information technology has so much potential, the next program will be focused on digital transformation.

Artificial intelligence (AI) regulation has been discussed for some time now and is a contentious issue on a global scale. A few countries are already preparing to take command of AI.

Some time ago, the European Union passed laws governing artificial intelligence. The European Union has introduced a law that governs artificial intelligence for the first time in history.

Furthermore, the United States, China, India, Brazil, Israel, Italy, Japan, United Arab Emirates, and other countries have made progress in regulating AI. The government of Nepal has now taken steps to ensure that AI is used in a safe and organized manner.
