How to Watch WhatsApp Stories without Clicking on Them

Turn off the Read Receipts feature first. Turning off this feature will not only stop the blue ticks in your chats, but you will also be able to see someone’s status. However, after turning off read receipt, you will not be able to see your WhatsApp status views.
For this, you need to open Who on your phone and go to Settings option by tapping on the three-dot menu in the top right corner. Now you have to click on account and type in privacy. And you have to open the toggle for read receipt.
Turn on Private Mode
First of all, open WhatsApp and let the status update. Now turn off wifi or mobile data on your phone and open the story you want to watch. If you are using WhatsApp desktop, switch to private mode and open your WhatsApp for web.
Use a file manager
There is another way for Android users to view WhatsApp stories. You can access all WhatsApp media saved in WhatsApp folder.
For this you have to go to file manager and go to internal storage and go to WhatsApp and open media. Now open the folder named ‘Status’. In this folder you will be able to view images or videos shared by contacts on WhatsApp.
