IBM researchers develop AI to predict Parkinson’s disease

Researchers at IBM have developed an AI that can tell patients how Parkinson’s disease affects them in the coming days. Even before this, we have found that doctors using AI software have found brain tumors, kidney diseases and various cancers.

Researchers at the IBM and the Michael J. Fox Foundation have developed an AI that can predict how difficult Parkinson’s disease is at any given time. Researchers in the Lancet Digital Health Journal predict that this will make it easier for doctors to treat patients.

The symptoms of Parkinson’s vary according to the patient and the motor and non-motor symptoms vary, so this mother seems to be very helpful. IBM has created this AI using a dataset of more than 1400 patients. This AI model can also detect very rare symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

The disease affects more than 6 million people worldwide, but there is no definitive cure. IBM and Michael J. Fox continue to work on modifying this model.
