It is difficult to get the necessary information from the online system of the Consumer Protection Department: Accountant General

The General Account has said that it is difficult to get the necessary information sought by the service users from the online system launched by the Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection.

In the 60th annual report, the Office of the Auditor General stated that it is difficult to get the necessary information sought by the users from the software in the online system.

Currently, the department has introduced 4 types of online services including firm management, market management, consumer rights management and Nepal National Single Door System.

In the online system that has been put into use, it is difficult to get the necessary information from the software, government agencies such as Internal Revenue Department, Company Registrar’s Office, Industry Department, Comptroller General’s Office could not be connected to the system, online payment could not be connected to the system, etc. The General Accountant has given instructions to make it.
