Kathmandu Metropolis is giving free training to more than 2000 people in various fields including IT, how to participate?

Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to organize ‘skill training’ on the occasion of World Workers’ Day on May 19, i.e. from today. The skill training which will be inaugurated in Tudikhel from 1 pm will be conducted for 1 month.

10 areas have been determined for training in the SIP Mela. There will be 29 types of professional training within the sector. The metropolis plans to add more areas and professions based on demand.

Like Digital Marketing, Graphics Designing, Computer Hardware & Networking, CCTV Camera, Welding, Refrigerator & AC Technician, Art & Sculpture, Tailoring-Saw Maker, Fashion Designing, Art, Makeup Art, Eyes Art, Hair Cut & Style, Salon, Training on sign making, priesthood and astrology will be broadcast.

In the training which will be conducted for 1 month, 2 thousand 81 people will be provided with free training related to high demand professions. By connecting ‘education with skills’, ‘skills with labour’ and ‘labour with production’, Mahagar is going to conduct training to make those who do not have skills have skills, creating employment and self-employment for those who have skills, raising the professional level of those who are employed but without skills and increasing their income.
