KU introduced BIT’s double degree program, 2 years in Nepal and 2 years in Australia

Kathmandu. Kathmandu University is going to conduct a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) double degree program at the graduate level. Australian Crown Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) in collaboration with the university is going to conduct such a course.

An agreement has recently been reached between these two educational institutions to teach the same course in two countries. According to the agreement, the students enrolled in this four-year course can study in Nepal for the first two years and then at CIHE in Australia for the next two years.

Students interested in taking admission to the BIT course should have studied science in class 12th and obtained a minimum 50% or 2.0 CGPA in the final result.

A maximum of 30 students can enrol in the course at a time. According to the university, the registration form will be open for admission from 21st January to 8th February.

According to the university, the entrance exam and other details will be given in the notification issued after some time. The first place in the entrance exam will get a full scholarship, the second place will get 50% and the third place will get a 25% scholarship. Similarly, it is said that CIAE will also give more scholarships to students who get excellent results.
