Laptop and notebook imports increased by 4,000 percent to Rs 7.77 billion

With the corona transition in the country, the import of various gadgets has increased after the launch of ‘Work from Home’ and online classes.

Imports of laptops and notebooks have been high in 2077/78. According to the data released by the customs department last year, laptops worth Rs 7.77 billion were imported last year.

This is an increase of more than 4,600 percent over the previous year. Last year, the import of laptops and notebooks was 164.74 million.
