Meta CEO and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has been away from Twitter for over 11 years. But this morning he returned to the microblogging site and posted the meme. The meme was about the start of Instagram threads.
Zuckerberg shared a meme showing a man dressed as Spider-Man pointing at another man in the same suit. The image is from the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon “Double Identity”, in which the villain tries to impersonate the hero.
Before this, Zuckerberg’s last post was on January 18, 2012. The Meta CEO describes threads as “an open and friendly public space for conversation.”
He also thanked the users for being a part of Threads since day one. Since Thread is also an app like Twitter, many people reacted to Zuckerberg’s post by coming to Twitter and sharing memes about this app.
Asked if Threads could be bigger than Twitter, Zuckerberg said it would take some time, but said it would be possible soon. Opinion is sharply divided on whether or not Threads works better than Twitter.
