Mega Bank has introduced Mega Medi Card, a credit facility of up to Rs 1.5 lakh to pay hospital bills

Mega Bank Nepal Limited has introduced Mega Medi Card with the objective of providing necessary funds to its customers for treatment at the hospital.

Considering the situation where customers may be in a dilemma to raise money immediately when they are sick.

Through this facility, the customers who are using the credit card facility of Mega Bank Nepal Limited will be able to use the credit card (Insta-By) facility for a minimum of Rs 20,000 to Rs 150,000 for 18 months.

The bank has made arrangements to provide this facility to the customers within two days of the submission of the required documents.

According to Bishwa Singh, head of the bank’s digital and e-banking department, procedural fees for the facility have been provided free of cost and credit card fees have been reduced by 50 per cent.

In addition, the bank has also introduced the facility to pay the health package to the customers who are using the credit card facility from the bank.

Mega Bank has stated that this facility will be very convenient and effective as the money will be provided to the family of the patient on the basis of proof of relationship for the payment of the hospital bill.

Under this, the hospital bill can be paid to the hospital through credit card by submitting it directly to the bank and the customers will also be able to reimburse the bill they have already paid.
