NASA has launched an investigation into Joby’s electric air taxi

NASA has begun testing Joby’s electric air taxi. This is Joby Aviation’s electric VTOL aircraft. In the future, NASA is going to test whether these taxis are fit to run in airspace.

The trial will begin on August 30 and end on September 10. The sound will be checked using 50 microphones during the flight. This is the company’s first official test and so far the company has only officially flown drones.

Its data is believed by NASA to support other taxi and flight services of the future. Joby recently bought Uber’s air taxi business and invested ३ 394 million in Toyota.
