NAST’s vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Dilip Subba appointed

Prof. Dr. is the vice chancellor of Nepal Science and Technology Academy (NAST). Dilip Subba has been appointed. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who is also the chancellor of NAST, appointed Subba as the vice chancellor.

Earlier Prof.Dr. Subba was in charge of Nast’s vice-chancellor. There has been a vacancy in NAST since the outgoing Vice-Chancellor Sunil Babu Shrestha left NAST on January 3 after completing his 4-year tenure.

After that, the recommendation committee requested an application for the recommendation of the vice chancellor of NAST. Among the applications received, the meeting of the recommendation committee recommended the names of 2 other people including Subba.

Prada Subba, who was recommended by the recommendation committee, was appointed by the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of NAST, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The tenure of the vice-chancellor in NAST is 4 years.

Subba, who has worked as the former secretary of NAST, is knowledgeable about NAST activities.
