Ncell will provide 150 more oxygen concentrators to the government, providing the first batch of aid on Friday

Nepal’s mobile service provider Ncell on Friday handed over the first batch of more than 150 oxygen concentrators to the Ministry of Health and Population to reduce the risk of an epidemic caused by the corona virus infection.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, Ncell has committed to provide more than 150 portable oxygen concentrators against Covid-19.

Oxygen is a basic medical requirement for patients infected with the corona virus who have low oxygen levels in their blood.

Ncell Chief Executive Officer Andy Chong on Friday handed over the first batch of oxygen concentrators provided by the company to Mahendra Prasad Shrestha, Chief Expert at the Ministry of Health and Population.

The concentrators will be handed over to district-level hospitals in dire need of oxygen for the treatment of corona patients, Ncell said.
