Nepal Oil Corporation has also joined the digital payment system, collecting around Rs 4 billion in four days

Nepal Oil Corporation has formally launched the SAP system with the arrangement of payment collection through NCHL system.

In addition, dealers and partners of the corporation will be able to make online payments to the corporation through Connect IPS (web, mobile app and gateway), corporate pay and branches of bank financial institutions. The corporation has collected Rs 3.97 billion in the first four days of its formal launch.

The Nepal Oil Corporation has become the first government body in Nepal to operate a world-renowned SAP system that can fully automate various processes.

At the same time, the corporation, in collaboration with NCHL, has taken the necessary initiative to make various other payments online and plans to implement it soon.

How does the dealer partner pay the corporation?

१) Dealers are required to provide their bank / financial institution with their ‘Customer ID’ and payment title along with the payment order.

२) Banks / Financial Institutions will be able to make payments to the branch using the system provided by NCHL as per the above information.

३) Thus, real-time inter-bank payments of up to Rs 1 million can be made from the branch, up to Rs 10 million per transaction in real-time and up to Rs 200 million in non-real-time at the same bank.

४) Dealers can also make online payments through Connect IPS’s site, its mobile app, corporate pay and Connect IPS (Gateway) connected to the dealer’s portal. The trading limits of these different channels are different.
