The Department of Transport Management has again started giving information about the printing of driver’s license (license) to the service users through SMS on their mobile phones. The Transport Management Department has re-introduced the service of obtaining information about whether the license has been printed or not, which has been suspended for a long time.

Issuing a notification, the department has requested to update your mobile number compulsorily while filling the online form or going to the relevant office for renewal from Wednesday.

The department said that the information about the driver’s license being printed and going to the office can also be obtained from the department’s website.

If due to insufficient details or any other technical reason, the smart card for more than 1 year has not been printed, the concerned customer should inform the relevant transport management office and service office, if necessary, update his details and contact the department. There is also a request for misappropriation’, the department said in the notification.

Similarly, the department said that the driver’s license of Nepalese citizens who go abroad for work and study, and those who go on peace missions, will be provided from the department’s help desk on the second day after the department submits an online application in the driver’s license registration system.
