NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 desktop graphics cards Rumors

Nvidia’s flagship RTX 40 Series desktop GPU stack currently includes the RTX 4090, 4080, and RTX 4070 Ti. Now, rumors about the new GeForce RTX 4060 desktop graphics card are currently in the air. The GPU will, as expected, be based on the new Ada-Lovelace architecture. So let’s take a look at the NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU’s rumored specs and leaks.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Rumors:

To begin with, Nvidia has already announced the laptop version of the RTX 4060 GPU, so the rumors are limited to the desktop variant. Anyway, @kopite7kimia tipster, has shared some information about the upcoming card.

Going by the leaks, the new graphics cards will use the same PG190 board as their laptop counterpart. The company has been using this board with GeForce RTX 3050, RTX 3060, and other RTX series GPUs for some time. The leak also points to an AD107 GPU (AD107-400-A1) with 3,072 CUDA cores, which by the way is the same as the mobile RTX 4060.

Furthermore, the tipster mentions a maximum power consumption of 115W, which is the same as the laptop GPU variant. So, if rumors are true, the desktop and mobile RTX 4060 will have a lot more in common than we usually see in Nvidia’s portfolio. Other specs of the card include 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and 24MB of L2 cache.
