Observers participate enthusiastically in the concluded Two-day Startup and Idea Fest

The Startup and Idea Fest and STEAM Camp organized on Friday and Saturday in Kathmandu has been completed.

The two-day fest, which was conducted on October 19 and 20 at Baneshwar Banquet in Thapagaon, was completed with the enthusiastic participation of the observers.

More than 80 digital startups and innovations, including startups from all seven provinces, participated in the fest, which was organized as the main project of Living with ICT.

The fest was conducted from 11 am to 5 pm. In the exhibition, startup innovations and ideas including AI, blockchain, machine learning, EV, software and hardware solutions prepared by Nepali youth were kept.

There was an enthusiastic participation of the observers to see new startups and innovations from all over the country. More than 12,000 people watched the fest which lasted for 2 days.

The Squad of Changemakers collaborated in the Startup and Idea Fest and STEAM Camp held as a pre-event champion of ICT Award 2023.

The main attractions of the program were exhibition of new ideas, innovations and products, idea pitching, astronomy camp, rocket and robotics camp, investment opportunities and games.

At the fest, more than 30 startups from all seven provinces, as well as the best 12 startups, 13 student innovations and 14 products selected from the ICT Award 2023 competition, exhibited their ideas and products at the fest.

In the event, Squid of Changemaker also exhibited new projects made by children including robots, rockets, 3D printing.

In the program, it was arranged that the observers could vote for the best 12 startups, 14 products and 13 rising star innovations of the ICT Award 2023.

On the last day of the event, certificates of participation were also distributed to the startups, exhibitors, mentors, best 12 startups, 13 rising stars and 14 products of the ICT Award.

In the eighth edition of ICITY Award, which is known as Nepal’s prestigious technology award, this time more than 500 nominations were received in 13 different categories. Currently, the nomination and selection process of ICT Award 2023 is underway.

This time, in the Grand Finale of the ICT Awards, the best startups from all the seven provinces will also be given the Provincial Recognition ICT Awards.

The Grand Finale of the ICT Awards will be held on the 6th of January at The Solti Kathmandu. Dozens of pre-events for the awards will be conducted along with Startup and Idea Fest and Steam Camp.

Kantipur Television will also broadcast television series as a special program for startup and idea pitching for 2 months.
