Oppo announced the Reno 9 series in December 2022. In less than two months, rumors of its successor, the Reno 10 series, have begun to circulate on the internet. So, let’s go over the rumors and leaks of the Oppo Reno 10 Series in more detail.

Leaks about the Reno 10 Series suggest that there will be three phones in the lineup. A vanilla Reno 10, mid-tier Reno 10 Pro+, and the high-end Reno 10 Pro+ 5G.

Design and Display

Both the Reno 10 and 10 Pro+ are likely to share the same design, including the camera modules. Meanwhile, the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G may include a distinct pill-shaped camera module branded with “Powered by MariSilicon” next to it.

For the display, the popular leakster Digital Chat Station hinted towards a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel on the Reno 10. This will be a Full HD+ resolution screen. Whereas, the Pro+ model is tipped to feature a 1.5K resolution. On top of that, it might come with a curved display to deliver a more premium look and feel.

Camera

As for the cameras, the Reno 10 Pro+ may get a 50MP Sony IMX980 primary lens, 8MP ultrawide, and a periscope lens. And based on the schematics, it will also have a Marisilicon X NPU (Neural Processing Unit). The chip aids in real-time RAW processing for 4K AI Night video with live preview. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 10 will feature a 2X portrait lens on the back and a front-facing 32MP selfie camera.

Other Specs

Currently, there are no details about the chipsets. Oppo may use a Snapdragon SoC for the Pro+ 5G and a MediaTek SoC for the Pro+ and vanilla models. For the battery though, the Reno 10 Pro+ is expected to have a dual-cell 4600mAh cell with 100W charging support.

On the other hand, its Pro sibling might receive an 80W fast charger. And the Reno 10 will likely include less powerful charging than its Pro siblings. All of the devices will boot on ColorOS 13 based on Android 13.

Oppo Reno 10 Series Launch and Availability

There has been no official confirmation of pricing or launch date. As usual, Oppo Reno 10 Series will first be available in China. We will add more information about smartphones in the coming days.
