Oppo’s Chinese website has been updated with landing pages for the Reno 9 series. The lineup will include three phones: the Reno 9, the Reno 9 Pro, and the Reno 9 Pro+. In this article, we will look at the Oppo Reno 9 series rumors, leaks, and launch date.

Oppo Reno 9 Series Rumors:

Design, Display

The design of the Reno 9 series is now official with renders from the company itself. Over on the front, all three models share an identical design with a curved edge and a central hole punch. The camera module on the Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro features a dual camera system that sits flush with the back panel. As for the Pro Plus, it has a triple camera setup with a slight protrusion.

As per the rumors, all three phones will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with thin 2.3mm bezels. Alongside an FHD+ resolution, the screen will have a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The Reno 9 and 9 Pro will be available in three colors: black, gold, and gradient gold whereas, the 9 Pro+ will be available in black, green, and gold.

Cameras

The vanilla Reno 9 is expected to come with a 64MP primary and a 2MP secondary sensor. As for the 9 Pro, it will house a 50MP IMX890 main camera and an 8MP ultrawide.

Coming to the most premium one, the Reno 9 Pro+ will ship with a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and an additional 2MP shooter. Both the Pro models will have Oppo’s 6nm imaging NPU – MariSilicon X. All three handsets will have a 32MP front camera.

Rest of the specs

Talking about performance, the base Reno 9 will feature a Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with a 4,500mAh battery. The Reno 9 Pro will make do with the Dimensity 8100-Max chip with the same battery. Both phones will support 67W fast charging.

Likewise, the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ will ship with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. It will have a bigger 4,700mAh battery and support faster 80W charging.

Oppo Reno 9 Series Launch Date

The Oppo Reno 9 series will launch on November 24 in China. As for now, the global launch date and prices are unavailable. The Pro variants will be available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In contrast, the base Reno 9 will be sold with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
