Oppo unveils under-display camera technology, full screen experience
Oppo has unveiled the next generation Under Display Camera (USC) technology for smartphones. The under-display camera is a combination of hardware innovation and Opo’s proprietary AI algorithm.
The company claims that this will provide the user with an accurate balance and unambiguous consistency in the quality of the screen and the quality of the scene captured by the camera.
According to the company, the problems including the unstable display quality seen in the screen area above the under-screen camera, the low quality picture that appears due to the screen being covered by the camera and the reliability and durability of the product have been solved. The new under-screen camera technology has the potential to take the flower screen experience to new heights.
The combined use of OPPO’s precision algorithm compensation technology limits the overall screen’s chromaticity and control over light to a deviation of only 2 percent.
Oppo’s next-generation under-display camera technology will display e-books, browse news, and navigate maps, as well as accurate display of small fonts, as well as texture and color quality.
Oppo has announced the continuation of R&D under hardware design and algorithmic processing capabilities for further optimization of under-screen camera technology.
