Oppo won 12 awards in CPVR 2021

OPPO has participated in the Premier Annual Computer Vision Event, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CPVR) 2021.

Through the conference, OPPO, which has participated in 12 different competitions under 7 major challenges, has been recognized for its achievements in the field of AI.

Under which, the company has been awarded one first place, seven second and four third awards for its outstanding technical capabilities in the industrial sector and its remarkable innovations in the AI ​​sector.

The group that participated in the CPVR 2021 competition included members of the Intelligent Perception and Interaction Department and the Oppo US Research Center of the Oppo Research Institute.

The group is working to expand OPO’s AI capabilities and the capabilities of its AI technology to provide more accurate service to the public through adaptation and training of AI algorithms.

Eric Guo, Oppo’s Chief Scientist, Intelligent Perception, said, “We are thrilled to have such a remarkable result in this year’s CPVR competition. When we participated in CPVR 2020 for the first time, we took part in the Perceptual Extreme Super Resolution Challenge, which showcased the technology to help sharpen blurred images and the Visual Localization for Handheld Devices Challenge to make fusion positioning more accurate.

“These technologies can be used in areas such as home construction, office, photography, health and mobility,” Guo added.
