Payments can now be made directly to the Social Security Fund from the pocket digital wallet

Organizations affiliated to the Social Security Fund have been able to deposit money directly through pocket digital wallets. The service is aimed at digitizing every payment made by Khalti in Nepal.

The service was launched after an agreement was signed between Jonam Bhurtel, assistant manager of Khalti Digital Wallet and Kapil Mani Gyawali, executive director of the Social Security Fund.

Under this, employees of both government and private offices working in the Social Security Fund will now be able to easily pay a certain amount from their monthly income from their pocket wallets.

The amount has to be paid by the 15th of every month. In case of non-payment, if any employee claims the amount of his fund, the organization will be fined a certain amount.

‘Khalti has brought a facility for the organizations affiliated to the social security fund to easily pay at home. We believe this service will go a long way in making people’s payment process simpler and more accurate, ”said Jonam Bhurtel, assistant manager at Khalti Digital Wallet.

“Once the service is operational, we expect it to be very convenient for individuals and organizations to deposit money in the fund from their pockets,” Bhurtel said.

Kapil Mani Gyawali, Executive Director of the Social Security Fund, said:

He further added, “I would like to thank the managers and technicians from the bottom of my heart for their support. This service has further helped to enhance the reputation of both Pocket Digital Wallet and Social Security Fund.
