Qualcomm modifies Snapdragon 7C chip for PC and Chromebook

Qualcomm has modified the Snapdragon 7C chip for PCs and Chromebooks. In 2019, Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 7C and 8C chips at affordable prices.

Now the company has modified the chip to increase performance. Qualcomm uses the Cairo CPU in the Snapdragon 7C Gen 2, which increases the clock speed by 2.55 GHz.

According to the company, the chip claims to give 10 percent faster performance. The company also claims that the 7C Gen 2 will give twice as much battery life as its other chips.

Compared to 2019, this time the CPU has undergone special changes. It uses Adreno 618 GPU. Its download speed is 800 megabytes per second.

This chip is made for education. This chip has been used for the first time in Lenovo laptops.
