Russia told Google to delete the unethical content, or face action

Russia has asked Google to delete unethical content.

If not, the app will be slow. According to Reuters, the Roscomnadzor Internet Commission has given Google a 24-hour ultimatum to remove 26,000 content that Russia classifies as unethical.

Russia has said it will pay a fine of up to 10 percent of its annual revenue if Google does not comply. At the same time, the Roscomnadzor Internet Commission has said that the site will also be slowed down. According to the agency, Google has censored Russian media outlets and state-owned entities such as RT and Sputnik.

The agency says Google has tried to interfere in Russian politics by promoting immoral content. Earlier, Google had asked Twitter to remove banned content. Google is still confused about whether Twitter will follow Russia’s lead.
