Samsung is set to launch a new budget-oriented A-series phone in Nepal called the Galaxy A13 this week. It’s an 4G device and sports a 60Hz TFT panel. In this article, we will go through the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Samsung Galaxy A13 in Nepal.
Samsung Galaxy A13 Overview:
To note, the Galaxy A13 is the revision to Galaxy A12—while there’s also a 5G variant of the device launched back in December, last year. Meanwhile, the A13 4G variant shares plenty in common with the recently announced A23.
Design and Display
Like its predecessor, the Galaxy A13 comes with a TFT display and an Infinity-V notch on the front. The screen measures 6.6-inch and features a Full HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Over on the back, the device has individual protruding camera lenses. In comparison, its predecessor has a square-shaped cutout. Moreover, the handset is available in four different color options—Blue, Peach, White, and Black.
Performance
In terms of performance, you get Exynos 850 octa-core chipset based on an 8nm process. It is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The handset boots on OneUI 4.1 (Core version) based on Android 12. Similarly, it comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. However, you won’t be getting a compatible charger inside the box.
Cameras
The back of the device has a quad-camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor. Accompanying this is a 5MP ultra-wide and a couple of 2MP depth and macro sensors. On the front, there’s an 8MP sensor on the Infinity-V notch for selfies and video calls.
