While the Galaxy S22 FE remains a rumor and its release is still unknown, leaks about the Galaxy S23 FE have begun to surface on the internet. The latter is now tipped to launch with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. More about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and its leaks and rumors here.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Rumors:

You may have heard that Samsung is discontinuing its FE (Fan Edition) series, with the Galaxy S21 FE being the last in the line. However, subsequent rumors stated that Samsung is still working on the Galaxy S22 FE. A few months back, a tipster @OreXda shared that the S22 FE is in the works and will be released soon.

But according to the latest leak from @OreXda, Samsung is now considering to skip the S22 FE in favor of the Galaxy S23 FE. That means the S23 FE will be a direct replacement for the two-year-old Galaxy S21 FE. The latter was unveiled with a Snapdragon 888 chipset and a triple camera setup.

Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1!

If OreXDA’s tweet is to be believed, the Galaxy S23 FE will pack a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The company ditched its homegrown Exynos silicon in favor of a customized Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy on the S23 series. So it is likely that the upcoming Fan Edition smartphone will also arrive with Qualcomm’s SoC.

A South Korean news outlet also suggested that the Fan Edition series is due for a return in 2023. And the Galaxy S23 FE will launch sometime in August/September. In other news, tipsters have also speculated Samsung skipping the Galaxy A74 this year, and will focus on S23 FE instead. Besides this, no other concrete details about the smartphone have surfaced online.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launch and Price (Expected)

The Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to release in Q3 of 2023. As of now, there are no details about its pricing but we’ll update new info as and when it becomes available.
