How to create an account in Google Keyword Planner?

After this the official page of Google Keyword Planner will come in front of you and you click on it. After clicking, you will see Go to Keyword Planner option, click on it.

Now you will reach a new page where you have to login with your Gmail ID. Here you have to sign in by filling your Gmail ID and password. Now you will come to the Confirm Your Business Information page. Here you click submit.

Finally, you click on Explore Keyword Planner. After this your account will be created and you will come to the top of Keyword Planner dashboard.

How to do advanced keyword research?

Now your account is created in Keyword Planner. Now use it like this. You will see 2 options at the top of the keyword planner dashboard.

The first option is Discover New Keywords and the second option is Get Search Volume and Forecast. First, we investigate the help of the Start with keyword option.

You will see the search option here. Here you write keywords related to your topic. You can enter more than one keyword. By typing in more keywords, you have a chance to get long tail keywords. After typing the keyword, you click on get result.

After doing this, a list of keywords will appear in front of you. Now with the help of some settings you can further refine the list of keywords.

You will see Country, Language and Search Engine options at the top. According to your content, you can choose between these options to get keywords.

From this you will get keywords according to your target country and language. To filter the keywords better, you will see Refine keywords option next to it.

Here you can filter the list of keywords according to brand or non-brand, service, process and competitor. After doing this, a list of filtered keywords will appear in front of you. In the list, you get options for monthly search, competition and bids.

You can sort for low competition keywords by clicking on competition. Similarly, you can also shorten the volume.
