So many free telecom facilities for customers converting from CDMA to GSM service

Nepal Telecom has announced various facilities for customers who are converting from CDMA service to GSM service.

Under the plan to convert existing CDMA service users to GSM network, free SIM, free voice, free data package and free SMS facility will be provided to CDMA prepaid and CDMA postpaid users.

For this, CDMA users will have to go to the nearest Nepal Telecom office and submit their old remcard.

New GSM (Postpaid and Prepaid) numbers will be provided for CDMA Mobile (Postpaid and Prepaid). Similarly, new GSM postpaid numbers will be provided for CDMA fixed (postpaid and prepaid).

Mobile customers who have converted from CDMA prepaid to GSM prepaid will be able to make 300 minutes of on-net (can be used in Nepal Telecom network) voice calls, use 4 GB of data and send 300 on-net SMS for free for 6 months.

Similarly, customers who convert to GSM postpaid mobile will be able to make 400 minutes of on-net and 50 minutes of off-net (can also be used on other networks) voice calls, 6 GB of data and 200 on-net SMS for free monthly.

CDMA postpaid customers who convert to GSM by next December are given a monthly rental fee waiver.
