Standard Chartered Bank is also affiliated with Connect IPS and NPI

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited has also joined Connect IPS and NPI. Standard Chartered Bank and Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) have entered into a partnership agreement to further expand digital payment services using the Connect IPS and National Payment Interface (NPI) systems.

Under the first phase of the project, customers will be able to transfer funds online from any member bank financial institution account to SCBNL account through Connect IPS.

The membership agreement has been implemented in a virtual ceremony held in the presence of senior representatives of SCBNL and NCHL.

The Bank believes that this collaboration will further help customers with online payments and expand Nepal’s digital payment ecosystem.
