Such trick to hack Facebook account even of literate people

[ad_1]

Recently, the social network Facebook account has been increasingly targeted by hackers. Since Facebook account can be misused in many ways than others, scammers (thugs) are targeting it more.

The style of hacking is changing and becoming sophisticated day by day. If the general public is not aware of any new method, his account can be hacked at any time. And the risk that the account itself can be misused for wrongdoing is high.

I am a computer engineer student by profession, active in the field of cyber security by interest. Lately, I have been busy bringing back hacked Facebook accounts or pages and YouTube channels. At the same time, a few days ago, an artist contacted me saying that his Facebook page had been hacked. His page had a good audience. He was well educated and aware of cyber crime and security incidents.

I asked him about that, wondering how such a person's account could have been hacked. “Look, I got a message from another artist friend of mine,” he said, “I came to fill the driving license form, my number has already been used, so the OTP did not come. I have put your number, the code has arrived, don't give it.”

He quickly thought, 'If I don't get it next time, how will I fill my form'? However, after remembering that he had another extra number, he waited for the code. At that time, a six-digit code appeared on the phone on a white background. There is 'Your login code is 734 007' and under it in English language 'Put this code to login on the device you want. Do not share this code with anyone else,' it was written.

He did not hesitate to give the code as the person who sent the message was a friend of his and the code was not visible. After taking a screenshot of the code and teaching it to the account, his own account was logged out. It appears that the password has been changed while logging in. Until then, if you forget the password, the code will go to another email.

He thought that he had not given the code from Facebook to anyone. However, he did not understand that the six-digit code seen on the white background is the login code of Facebook. However, there is no indication of who the code is. However, in the end, Facebook's collar is placed on the close button. Many people cannot guess that it looks like the code of Facebook based on the same color. And the account is lost.

Later on, he realized that the artist friend who had received the message, his Facebook account had also been hacked. According to the artist who came in contact with me, before asking for the same code from his friend, the scammer sent a wallet code and asked him to send money to it.

Not only to hack someone else's account, but to create a new account and join Facebook first. Then, the way that person speaks, the same style of conversation. “I came to the office to fill the form of driving license or passport, but I did not receive the code. It is very urgent, you may have received a code on your mobile or WhatsApp, don't send it,” he said. At the end of office hours, after persuasion like this, people feel that they are really in trouble. When they say that it is for passport and driving license and that it is urgent, they feel the need to help anyone and trust them and easily send sensitive codes.

This person uses the account controlled in this way to ask for money from your relatives or close people. This person of mine is sick, I am in the hospital, please send money to this account, I will return it soon, there are many people who help me. When it comes to e-service of the hospital, there is no need to prove it. Apart from that, in some cases, the amount did not come due to the account limit, so it is said that it had to be sent to this account.

In this way, asking for 10 thousand to 1 lakh depending on the condition of the person, showing various reasons. If he says that the amount is not as much as he said, he is asked to send the amount as much as is in the wallet.

To avoid this, don't make the mistake of trusting someone to send you a code or money online. Don't worry if you don't know the person asking for the code or money. If known, contact his official number. If the number is not found, search for the number of a person close to him. Thus, send money only if the person you want to help is verified. Regarding the code, do not give the OTP i.e. One Time Password to anyone.

Your OTP is like your password. In some cases, it is clearly revealed who the OTP code is. However, it may not be disclosed in all cases. If the code is not clearly mentioned on the screen, do not give the code to anyone. Even if it is clearly mentioned, take care whether it is given or not. Even in the code that came, it is said not to share that code with anyone. Therefore, if you want to prevent such incidents from happening, you should be careful.
