Suggestion of the Chamber to the National Bank to remove the limit of electronic payment

Nepal Chamber of Commerce has suggested to Nepal Rastra Bank to remove the limit of ‘digital transaction’ to encourage electronic transactions.

Giving suggestions to be included in the monetary policy to be introduced by Nepal Rastra Bank soon, the Chamber of Commerce said that the limit on electronic payments should be removed.

Likewise, the chamber has asked the budget to provide up to Rs 2.5 million at 1 percent interest rate for capital of new entrepreneurial startups and innovation projects and the provision of spending in this sector under corporate social responsibility in the forthcoming monetary policy.

Likewise, the chamber has suggested that e-commerce should be encouraged to increase the transparent economy and priority should be given to implement e-commerce in the entire import-export and payment process.

Chairman of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce Rajendra Malla on Friday presented suggestions to Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari of Nepal Rastra Bank on behalf of the chamber for the upcoming monetary policy.
