Symphony: Brand Overview

As mentioned earlier, Symphony is a smartphone brand that is based in Bangladesh. The company was founded back in 2008 by the Edison Group. Initially, it used to make budget feature phones. But after a few years, the brand successfully expanded its portfolio of products to include Android smartphones and tablets as well.

Symphony Xplorer W68 was the company’s first smartphone. The device was released in 2013 and shipped with Android Jelly Bean (4.1). In Bangladesh, Symphony has made a name for itself by offering decent smartphones at affordable rates.

Originally, Symphony entered the Nepali market in 2020 with Sympho Tech as its sole official distributor. But now, the company has appointed Apex Group as its second distributor. Sympho Tech meanwhile is offering a 1-year warranty on batteries as well.

Symphony i32

Here, the Symphony i32 is an entry-level phone. Its plastic back is covered with polygonal markings of different shapes and sizes. The panel also houses a fingerprint scanner.

Over on the front, the i32 features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the 5MP selfie shooter. At the back, there is a dual-camera setup consisting of an 8MP primary and a 0.08MP secondary camera.

Symphony Z45

Going by the nomenclature, the new Z45 is a more advanced option than the Z40. It is powered by Unisoc T610 which does bring more capable cores in the form of Cortex-A75 and Corte-A55, both clocked at 1.8GHz. The screen is slightly smaller but you get the same HD+ resolution, as a result, the pixel density is higher here.
